Senior Facilties Manager

Salary Range: ($104,862 – $157,292)

The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Senior Facilities Manager. Position plans, organizes and directs all airport authority facilities maintenance activities. The work involves managing all maintenance and basic custodial requirements of authority property including structures, equipment, systems, vehicles and heavy equipment, grounds and landscaping, airfield and related facilities. The position initiates daily assignments, follows through on matters, and uses independent judgment and training to deal with standard recurring and non-standard emergencies appropriately. Duties include reviewing construction, renovation and repair plans and drawings and submitting comments for the benefit of the authority. Position plans, coordinates and administers the Airport’s building management systems to include the computerized HVAC systems, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, security system, baggage system and the Building Automation System (BAS).

Applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Engineering, Management or related field and eight years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management and three years of supervisory experience. Electrical/Mechanical licensed is preferred.
