June 9, 2026

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 9, 2026 – Huntsville International Airport (HSV) announces the opening of
three new restaurants for travelers beginning today. Rocket City Bar & Grill, Rocket City Express, and
Everbowl bring expanded dining options, greater convenience, and enhanced amenities to passengers
traveling through the terminal.
The openings mark a major milestone in the HSV Refresh Project, completing the initiative’s food and
beverage redevelopment phase and transforming the concourse experience with modernized spaces
designed to better serve today’s travelers.
Rocket City Bar & Grill offers a full-service dining experience inspired by North Alabama’s innovative
spirit, featuring table service, signature cocktails, wine by the glass, and a selection of beer on draft
and by the bottle. The menu features traveler favorites and regional flavors, including Conecuh
sausage, smash burgers, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, and other Southern-inspired offerings.
Rocket City Express provides convenient grab-and-go sandwiches and wraps, while Everbowl
introduces nutritious açaí bowls, smoothies, and other wholesome options. All three restaurants offer
breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections and allow travelers to dine in or take meals directly to their
gate. Together with Interstellar Pizza, Comet Coffee, and Starbucks, the new concepts provide
travelers with a diverse mix of food and beverage options throughout the terminal. The restaurants
open in time for the airport’s first departing flight each day and remain open through the final
scheduled departure.
Located between Gates 3 and 5, the new restaurant area features comfortable tables and high-top
seating with views of the airfield. The popular cubby-style seating area, bar seating, and expanded
accessible seating options all feature convenient charging ports at every seat
“For many visitors, our terminal is their first introduction to Huntsville,” said Joey Ceci, Board Chair for
The Port of Huntsville. “As one of the fastest growing and most innovative communities in the nation,
Huntsville should have an airport that reflects the energy, progress, and hospitality that define our
region. These new dining concepts are another step forward in creating an experience that showcases
the best of Huntsville from the moment travelers arrive.”
The new restaurants are part of HSV’s ongoing efforts to modernize and enhance the passenger
experience. Recent investments have included significant terminal upgrades and passenger amenities,
with future projects planned such as all-new gate seating throughout the concourse and a renovation
of the restrooms between Gates 7 and 9.
“These new spaces represent another important step in the continued transformation of our terminal,”
said Butch Roberts, CEO of Huntsville International Airport. “We encourage everyone flying through
HSV to arrive early, stop by the new restaurants, and enjoy everything they have to offer.”
